Coonecting active subwoofer magnat 302A to Sony f550es amplifier

Hello all,

i want to connect my amplifier to the subwoofer. the amplifier doesnt have pre out, but it has two ports out

1) adapter out 250mV/1kOhm

2) phone out 25mV/?kOhm

Witch one should i use.

connect the B speaker posts on the Sony to the "Speaker Level In" posts on the Magnat using speaker cable and ensure the speaker selector us set to A+B on the front of the amp.

Thanks for the answer! so basically
1)Amp speaker LEFT+Right FROM B(out) goes to sub High level inputs (with correct polarity)
2) from sub left + right goes to actual speakers
Question
i'm using now 4 speaker a+b now on the amp. all speaker are 8 OHM and the amp is delivering in this mod only 8ohm. is this a problem ?
I mean the sub will only capture the signal via the high level inputs and reroute the actual power to the speaker! it will not damage the amp ?

I didn't realise you were using 2 sets of speakers. You should be able to parallel the sub to either set and it should be OK but it's your call.
