Connecting a brand new laptop to a CRT tv??

Hi all!

I've just got a new laptop, a dell xps 15 which has hdmi and usb outputs but nothing else for video. how would I connect this to my loewe xelos 5270ZW? I think it only has an s-video and an rgb enabled scart socket.

hmm.....

I know there are various leads and adapters avaliable but which is best and what will the quality be like??

hope someone can shed some light!

As far as I'm aware ther is no lead or adapter that is capable of converting a digital signal to an analog one. The only way I can see is using an intermediary box such as an AVR that accepts HDMI and can output to SCART or S-video
