Cleaning grubby woofers?

This might be one for the speaker designers on here.

What material is the woofer made of, and what sort of stain?

If it doesn't effect performance - tread carefully.

Just use a damp cloth and wipe gently.

Do not use any alcohol or other solvent based cleaners as they could react with the msp (a type of plastic) cones.

If they are ground on marks I'd leave well alone or have a word with a dealer. If it's just dust carefully use a vucuum cleaner to suck off loose dust, or if it can be reversed, to blow away.
