Choice of 4 speakers for Cyrus 8XPd

Hi,
I have recently acquired a Cyrus 8XPd amp and am trying to decide which speakers to match with it.
I will be demoing the following 4 speaker soon and would appreciate a bit of advice before I do.

Spendor A5

Roksan Caspian

Revel M22 + Official Stands

Kef XQ40

These are a combination of New, Second Hand and Ex Demo. As such they are quite similarly priced.

Note. All music will go through the onboard DAC.

Any advice would be great!

I heard the A5's on Saturday, although not with a Cyrus. They are very good. Try looking at Dynaudio Focus 110 or maybe Proac Studio 130 or 140's.

Due to my location I do not have a huge range of speakers available for demonstration so my choice will probably be between the 4 speakers mentioned. Anyone here use these speakers? Any other thoughts would be great.

From what I've read all over the interweb, your best bet is probably spendor.

But go listen to em!

I demo'd the A5's with 8XPD and 8SE....they did sound excellent, I also tried the A6's which sounded even better...If your budget will stretch to an ex demo pair of those I would highly recommend the A6 over the A5.

Spendor is an excellent match for Cyrus, also others to consider are ProAc and B&W 800 series and specifically the 805S's...

Thanks for the replies. I definatly like the idea of getting ex demo / 2nd hand gear however the Spendor speakers are only available new in my area.

I was supposed to demo these on Monday however my Cyrus amp arrived and it was faulty! Gonna have to wait another week now before I can try them out.
