Being new to wall brackets I would appreciate a little guidance. I would like to wall mount a 15kg Sony 46” and will later attach a soundbar to a mount that will hang from the TV mount. The TV mount must have the facility to pull out and rotate. I have found one on 123 brackets the Cantilever pro series 2. This has a large wall plate. I have dry lined walls and my thought was to find the battens and fix some hard wood between them and fix the bracket to this. I would drop the HDMI and power lead between the brick and plasterboard and poke it out from the bottom where it is hidden from view by the cabinet. Are there any obvious lessons learned from experience that I should be aware of?

Has to be this one for my money

Graham at M-Form is also a great guy to deal with

For mounting a soundbar, this is the only UK solution I've found so far:

Hope this helps!

Bracket from first link looks a bit like cheap.
Aren't you afraid that the bracket is made from weak materials and over time may bend?

I think it's better to buy verified product like vogels or omnimount.

Usually cheap adjustable brackets stand out quite far from the wall. Only vogels ultra-thin series brackets
allows you to set the TV at a distance of 35mm from the wall with full adjustment.

I've got 2 of these, and no issues what-so-ever! (My 50GT50 is happily attached to it...)

Not sure what you mean by 'looks cheap'

here is the same product, from the manufacturers website:
