can anyone help. got a yamaha rx v1900 reciever and a oppo 93 blu ray player. do you think the dac magic would make much difference in stereo to my system. or not worth buying. thanks

I would audition if possible, based on my experience it will be an improvement. Whether the improvement is worth the outlay only you can decide.

I have the oppo feeding a dacmagic 2 via coax. This brings more life to the music verses the oppo's analogue outs.

Personally I doubt it.

I have a Yamaha RX V667. I also have a very nice DAC that is not in use. I tried it with the Yam and it made so little difference I couldn't reliably tell them apart.
