How To Bush mtt2

HI purchased a Bush mtt2 deck on a budget to replace my mt1.
But it sounds distorted , hum very loud it has a preamp built in would this cause the issue
I'm using a memorex 404s amp

Yes, if you're connecting it to the 'PHONO' input of the Memorex amp.

On most (if not all) turntables with a built-in preamp, the preamp can be bypassed by means of a switch marked 'PHONO / LINE'.
I think your MTT2 lacks this switch....so you must connect it to a LINE input.

Therefore, on your amp you should connect it to either the:
'TUNER', 'CD/AUX', 'TAPE1 IN' or 'TAPE2 IN'.
All of those 4 are identical, line inputs (They differ only in their labelling).
