hi all, please help!.

the budget is 2,000 bricks, should i forget about the B&W 685 speaker package & concentrate the majority of the budget on a receiver. i know that both are important but which should take precedent ?

thank you for your time.

kind regards, lee.

i see it that i would spend £1300 on your speakers £200stands/cables and then £500 on a av amp. the reason being you can get a monster pair of speakers that is good for music and movies and it will be for 10 years ect. where if you spend a large part on an amp in 2 years its out dated. now hifi is differant thats imo

If you take a look at the system matching in WHF you are pretty much on the mark as regards the spread of cash.

Your next challenge is what to buy...................?
