Which is the best subwoofer from this list for a 2.1 desktop setup with KEF Egg speakers? Budget: $550 (willing to stretch if needed).

- Subwoofer Model (Price in my country // original price in US)

- Q Acoustics 3070S ($599 // $393)

- Monitor Audio MASS W200 ($436 // $367)

- Boston Acoustics ASW250 ($544 // $350)

- MartinLogan Dynamo 500 ($570 // $500)

- SVS PB-1000 ($762 // $500)

- SVS SB-2000 ($749 // $700)

- SVS PC-2000 ($817 // $800)

Obviously the one I want is PB-1000 as from what I have seen online, it is the best sub under $500. However, is it worth $762? If it is then I'll get it right away because I do not want to compromise sound quality and I know a sub will last for many years. I use my speakers daily for a minimum of 3 hours, which includes one hour of a TV show episode and the rest is music listening and some YouTube.

MartinLogan Dynamo 500 from that list.

Just because you insist it's one from the list doesn't guarantee that anyone will listen!

I should have stated that I am not from the US and options over here are very limited and are usually priced higher, as seen from my initial post. These are the best options I was able to find in my country for the price I am looking for. I would love to explore other options (and have seen quite good ones) but no way can I ship a sub from the US as it'll cost me a minimum of $300 for shipping alone.

Anyways, why the MartinLogan? The SVS' have lower frequencies and better amps than the MartinLogan.

I would go SVS out of that bunch. Lower frequencies and more powerful amplifiers are where it's at as far as a sub is concerned.

The sound, which itself sounds strange as it's a subwoofer. maybe the feel would be a better way to describe it. If you prefer the SVS then that is the right answer for you.
