I am looking to set up a similar system to my father at home, he has a rotel ra-1000 amp and akai sr 1400 speakers.
I have found an amp, rotel ra 935BX which I believe should be similar to the ra-1000, I am hoping to purchase it for around £60-70 (is that about right). Are there any better options for my, I am on a bit of a budget.
I am struggling to really see what I am looking for with regards to the speakers, I know that the sr 1400 are 3-way and I think that they are 100 watts but not too sure. Essentially I am looking for speakers that are loud enough to fill a very large lounge with a high ceiling. I can find the rough measurements if that helps. I am looking to hopefully but the speakers for around £60-70 again.
I am unsure as to what speaker I require, I would look it to be loud and have good bass as they will be used for some partys.
