As the motor noise is doing my fruit in when I start to play my records- I have some grease which came with my clearaudio cleaning kit- but where do I find the bearings to add the grease?....or perhaps the rubber to the platter is worn...but how can I tell?

Take the platter off and turn on. If noise still there its the bearings. Not sure how/where to grease on your turntable.

Most are sealed units, never to be greased. The bearing islocated where the shaft comes out of the motor. There may be a grease point but I doubt it.

No noise when motor is running on it's own...so must be the platter belt then?

ah ha...just found out what was causing the noise. on top of the motor a black plastic top was loose..so when I turned the motor on, it would spin the top loose- which in turn made the noise 🙂
