I did save a lot of money having it done this way as the Atacama elite 3 shelf av rack are now £1.100 they have bumped there prices up as when I looked before getting this made they were £900 .Andrewjvt said:

now Dali say 20cm minimal from back wall but then I came across the white papers on the Dali website and they say 30cm from back wall but the main manual says 20cm so what they are thinking I do not know .

yes it would help with a turntable but amplifier / cdplayer both are well constructed and both of the Yamaha units have there own spikes fitted as standard if you choose to use them .
each section of the rack is module design and each of the legs are fitted with spikes so the hole thing is well constructed .

Love the walnut. My speakers are in walnut, my own tv rack and previous pmc 23's.
I'd definitely consider buying one myself if I was thinking of a change.
