Audio system for bedroom

I have a Series 6 Samsung 32 inch LCD TV with a PS3 and Sky HD in my bedroom. While the image quality of the Samsung is fantastic the sound is terrible, not very loud and no bass at all. I want to purchase a system which will allow me to connect the Sky and PS3 audio output, I am not after a 7.1 or 5.1 system, a 2.1 would be sufficient. Preference would be a sub-sat system that I can hook the 2 audio items to.

Any ideas what I should consider? Money wise I'd like to spend no more than the £550 - 600 mark. Lower if possible.

The Sony DAV-F200 at £350 springs to mind. It's an excellent, compact 2.1 system that should fit the bill nicely.
