Are these ebay van den hul cables genuine?

I have just bought this interconnect, I emailed the seller and asked the seller why the cable has black plugs... He says he bought the cables from AudioT, he has 100% positive feedback.

You should find this thread re VdH fakes on eBay - including comment from (and contact details for) official UK distributor - useful. It's not good news

Hi Andrew, sorry but it is not the genuine article. It would have VDH phonos. Either there is a large supply of fake marked VDH cables and unscrupulous sellers are fitting any old phono, or the cable is genuine, but a DIYer has fittied any old phonos to pass them off as the real thing.

The seller did not buy that cable from AudioT. I am sure you can confirm that with a quick call to them.
