Are the Q Acoustics 2010i good for near field listening/ desktop use

After alot of research, I've settled for the Q acoustics 2010i's but are they any good for near field listening or should I get monitors?

Hi ,

I'm sure they wil be fine , I use a Denon ceol and Roth RA1's on the desktop , 2mm pads at the back 7mm pads at the front to tip them away from the desk and at me then a couple of table mats as its a glass top desk , postion the 2010s right at home and you will be happy
