Anybody been Record Shopping today?

I can tell you it is not a worn album because it's so pristine. No way has it been played that much it has affected the actual tone. This is a pressing issue (no pun intended) It just sounds flat, almost mono it's so poor. The recording is as clean as any brand new record. Even my AT440MLB can't bring out the hi frequency range. Not overkeen on most of the album anyway (love Simon And Garfunkel) as I just wanted to sample a great sounding pressing.

Queen jazz half speed master isn't bad I did a back to back comparison of each track

The vocals are less pronounced and overall is a lot quieter when played at same volume compared to original and the instruments in some cases blend together.

This is the first half speed I've bought and let's just say I won't be seeking them out over any other release.

and to answer how I got them so cheap I stumbled across a record shop that was closing down and had next to nothing in it so made a cheeky offer. Just wish. Had more cash in my pocket when I was in there.

Went to see Wild Beasts last night, they were their usual excellent self, new stuff very good live. The support band were Throws, they were very good too, had checked them out on Spotify first.. In fact they were so good I bought the album off them, £12 for cd or £15 for vinyl, guess whci hI chose!
