An indecent obsession?

I was surfing the online hifi mags last evenening when She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed happened to glance over my shoulder. "STEREOPHILE?!" she cried aghast. "It sounds like something you should be arrested for!"

It's when you stay up after she's gone to bed furtively downloading instruction manuals that she really needs to worry...

Everytime my wife bought new cloths or jewerys, I couldn't tell her off because the reply will be (as I heard a thoundsand times) "They cost a lot less than your HiFi!" Sometime I got that "blackmail" feeling......

I feel lucky when I liston to what other men have to put up with from her indoors. My fiancee ecourages my constant persuit of upgrades. And at the end of the day we both enjoy the outcome whether it be watching a film together, or her listening to music while im at work (paving my way toward my next upgrade). We are currently discussing a dedicated listening room/ home theatre in the spare room of our new home. Sweet eh?
