Hi

I have seen alot of the tvs around at the moment, and i think at the sort of price range you are talking about the Sony tvs take some beating. You have the Sony 40hx803 or the Sony 40lx903, probably would recommend to do a demo and see which one suits you best. Samsung's top range tvs are very good too, would have a look at them too, but i personally would not consider anything else.

+1, another £200 will get you a 42 VT30, the outer casing is not much bigger than my old 40" Sony.
