Yamaha A-S700 + MA RS6

Opposites attract or two wrongs don't make a right!? :?

Price of the A-S700 is falling & I need something warmer than my RA-1062. I'm wondering how the supposedly soft amp would match with the bright speakers? Anyone actually hear the combination?

Never listened to this combo, but I have owned the RS6 + NAD 355. I did not like the speakers, they are to bright for me.

Maybe you should keep the Rotel amp and switch to a more neutral speaker.

The Yamaha might be a good choice - it won good reviews in the past and has quite a neutral presentation which could work well with the speakers. Give it a whirl - with 90w on tap, it'll do fine for driving them.
