Recently returned my Samsung 4K Blu Ray player for being too noisy and was wondering about this console now it does bitstream sound, but will it work with my amp? The Pioneer sc-lx81 amp? Thanks!

I don't know the answer but personally if I was any retailer I wouldn't sell you anything. You return more stuff for no real reason than some of us buy in a lifetime, making a mockery of the well-intended rules and regulations that unfortunately allow you to get away with it seemingly ad nauseam.

Not sure if your lx81 can accept the latest 4K specs, if not then 2 HDMIs will be required. Also, I'm not sure if the Xbox can bitstream... sorry I've not been too helpful here, but I've tried mate!

The Samsung was used when I bought it, so I think that has something to do with the noise, playback is quite quiet but operation is overly noisy compared to the one I sold.

I have xbox one and the 2 hdmi are one normal one for the reciever or tv.
The other one is an input for a sky box or such so it can be controlled by the xbox.
I personally would not bother with this as it all goes into the av amp

Yep, it's not going to work, just an idea, I will forget about it, and I have had my credit card taken off me so hopefully no more impulse purchases. But I do think it could've worked out well if it had 2 HDMI outputs. Cheers everyone.Andrewjvt said:
