Wow!! Just set-up my new Pioneer BDP-LX08 Blu-Ray

I replaced my Sammy Blu-Ray. Just got the Pioneer delivered this morning and have loaded the 1.38 Firmware update.

I have played Metallica, The Police, Pink, Bon Jovi & Gary Moore (Thin Lizzy) and all I can say is it a brilliant upgrade on the sound quality and picture is slightly more detailed (can read Pink's Tattoos better )

Plus got it brand new off Fleabay for £305 delivered (I think sold-through since)

I feel a Blu-ray disc buying run coming on : Foo Fighters maybe & Kill Bill collection a possible.

Any other film suggestions?

District 9 i think is a must, awesome movie, great soundtrack (it got my subwoofer working its back side off) and a brilliant picture too.

You got that for a bargain price didn't you.

I have to say most blu ray's look very good on it. You could try out some disney's one's too I still like the trailors at the beginning.
