Good afternoon all,

Im arranging to listen to some Kef Q1 Meta, Q3s & Q Concertos, they are for my TV room and would be run as a 2.0 or 2.1 setup for Music and TV use. The room is approx 5.5m x 3.5m

Just want to know if the Q1s with sub will satisfy vs the Q3s/ Concertos without a sub.

There is a price difference between the options im aware, if i went for the Concerto's i would not be able to purchase a sub (straight away anyway and i may not want one,)

I will be listening to other speakers from Monitor Audio Silver range while im there.

Thanks for any advice given.

Determine if you actually want a 2.1 set-up first.
For movies a subwoofer might be a nice addition but for music may not be.
Get your priorities sorted then audition as many as you can and not just two manufacturers.
What are you going to be driving them with?

Go for the speakers that sound best to you, with the equipment you are going to use them with, a subwoofer can be added later if you feel it's necessary.

Ive been out of the loop a little while, and I kind of like the BluOS systems. A lot of my CD collections are stored on my NAS whilst I subscribe to Tidal.

For driving the speakers I will be using a NAD C700v2

I will go for a 2.1 system ive made my mind up on that for my living room.

Any other Brands i should be looking at listening too, i welcome any suggestions. Ive given up on you tube reviews, after watching hours and hours has left me in an even deeper hole.
