I posted a few years ago about a beginner system, well I'm ready for an upgrade. suggestions, advice would be greatly appreciated. Again.
Beginner system Cambridge Audio AXR100, Cambridge Audio CXC v2 cd transport, Music Hall mmf 1.5 tt. Elac debut 2.0 B6.2 speakers.
Since first purchase I have upgraded all interconnects and speaker cables to Audio Quest, I have added an ifi zen phono preamp and a AT-VM540ml cartridge and a wiim pro streamer. I love and am keeping the Cambridge Audio. I am looking to upgrade the turntable and the speakers. 14x17 room with some furniture.
Speaker Kef Q11 Meta KefR3 meta. Dali Opticon 6 mk2, Monitor Audio silver 300 7g (over budget pair)
Think I've decided on a Technics SL-1500c, I like the features and I would have 3 cartridges to compare. I have heard the Kef;s and the MO 300s like all 3.
any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks

I don’t think you can go wrong with anything you’ve listed. They’re all decent, well-reviewed and popular products, and I’d be happy to own any of them myself. It’ll come down to looks, your ability to place the speakers, and a presentation that you like with your ears.

The Kefs are reasonably forgiving over placement, so are worth a listen if you are compromised for space with the other furniture in the room.
