Think I've totally missed all the 'hatred of women' in this thread, yet I've read it end to end. 1970s? Perhaps sometimes it wouldn't be a bad thing. For all the rampant sexism, racism and homophobia which was totally out of order, it was at least a time where you didn't have to vet every sentence you said in case it bloody offended somebody. On the whole women don't give a monkey's about HiFi. It's not sexist to say so, it's just a fact, deal with it.
