Which upscaler

This subject is probably already covered but could someone give a fairly definitive answer please. I have a 42 inch Panasonic G10 plasma tv and sky HD box. Settings on Sky box should be set to 1080i or to Automatic? In other words which upscaler in theory or otherwise is better. Thanks in advance for any answers

I have mine on 1080i all the time, switched between the two and could not see a difference.

As I do with our set up.

I think there may be a marginal difference in quality (as in better) on the lower bandwidth channels (is that the right BLOCKED EXPRESSION when set on Auto, but not used as I find the delay, whilst necessary as all is reconfigured, somewhat irritating and the benefits marginal.
