Which TV to buy?

I have Sony KDL40W4000 and I like it a lot. But I am going to return it (pickup this coming Friday) as I am looking to buy Sony KDL40W4500 instead. I have read lost of good reviews about it. But its out of stock in most places I checked.

What are the other TVs as good as these in the price range? KDL40W4500 is about £1075 (inc. 5 years warranty) in John Lewis. I am looking spend around that.

If you're buying a sony, watch out for the clouding/backlight bleed issues. You might as well wait till the new models come out in february/march time, you'll have a bigger, better choice range.

the 4500 is a brilliant set and I have had mine since November last yr. I have a friend who is looking to buy one but can't find one under a grand! Has anyone spotted any good deals on this?ÿ
