ear:true I am a perfectionist especially when Im spending my money.for the price of the rx6 I think one can get better speakers.if i was to buy some speakers now I woulnd have a clue what to get.but we are a bit limited of offer here in Portugal.well , im paying e850 for the rx6s , what else would you suggest at that price , in a floorstander , that will work with my ma cinema kit , thats available at munstersounds ?

fair enough , if thats what you like , but dont forget , the iq50s are in the br5s class bracket , the rx6s are a higher class/spec speaker , dan , pp , mathew , jaxwired , david , whfi , and probably more that i cant recall have found the rx6s to be better than the br5s , they are the obvious upgrade for me , especially as i like the br5s so much , im expecting more of the same , but bigger and better

I agree but as someone esel has already said; for their price braket IMO the RX6's cant be beaten!

Sadly most people don't seem to listen to other brands. If it's not B&W or Monitor Audio it's hard to get an opinion on this forum.

My guess is there are many speakers better than or equal to the Rx6s in that price bracket, it's just that people haven't heard them. Yes, they're probably not so widely available, but it would be nice to hear about them every now and again.
