Yeehah!
Me, I was going to say speakers but really thinking about it I'd have to say the Tom Evans Groove phono preamp.

They sound even better than they look. We could even follow almost all of the dialogue in the BBC's Jamaica Inn.

Well, it excites me!
Electro said:I think it has to be my EMC1UP Cd player because I have had it the longest time (about eleven years ) and it is still the best source of music I have ever heard of any type or format and by a large margin , I will probably take it to my grave .
But then my new EC4.8 pre amp has been a revelation over the last few weeks and has been the biggest upgrade for a long time ,and as for my new AW180 monoblocks they have allowed me to hear so much more of what the EMC1UP and the EC4.8 can do .
Then there is my PMC PB1i's that can reproduce music in a way that seems so close to real live music, and without them the rest would be useless !
I dont think I should choose one favorite piece of equipment because it all works together as a whole , but I guess if you were to hold a gun to my head it would be my EMC1UP Cd player

You know me I don't like to make a fuss
The star of my new acquisition is the EC4.8 pre amp, it has made by far the biggest improvement .
I triedthe EC4.8 with my old AW120 DMB power amp before installing the new AW180 mono's and the improvement in transparency , detail , dynamic contrast and transient detail improved dramatically , in fact I think I would have been happy with that alone !
It is a seriously good pre amp that is actually two balanced mono pre amps in one box , see the picture in the link below .

Adding the AW180 monoblocks made a smaller but still very obvious improvement especially in the dynamics department at higher volumes and a large step up in image / soundstage size and depth .
Overall a massive step closer to live sounding music at home which is what I have always wanted .
So yes I am quite pleased with them
Nice one, congrats.
If you don't mind me asking, who did you do the part ex through?
