Just wondering whats the cheapeast youve bought a blu-ray for, did you already own it on dvd and what do you do if you have both formats. Also what are you intending to buy before xmas, and what would you like to see released on blu-ray.

The cheapest i bought was Rush Hour 3 for £5, also Spiderman trilogy for £15 and Starship Troopers trilogy for £17.99

I own Spiderman trilogy and Starship troopers 1,2 so might sell them on ebay.

Iam planning on buying Casino Royale, Blackhawk down, Master and Command, Darkcity, No country for old men and Blade Runner .

I would love to see all the Starwars movies, Lord of the rings trilogy and Aliens boxset.

Got the Spiderman trilogy for £20 which is £6.66 each so I guess thats the cheapest. Otherwise I just bought Cloverfield, Transformers and NCFOM for £9.70 each in play's 3 for 2 offer.

legends of jazz 5.99 and very good it is -- plus high school musical 5.99 not for me my daughters+ tony bennett an american classic 6.49 another good blu ray disc . all bought on amazon.

dvdaudio:plus high school musical 5.99 not for me my daughters

That's what they all say.

hi no its true they are 7 and 9 yrs old. and i have seen the thing to many times they play it nearly every day. it looks good enough but not my cup of tea music wise . ps .i am not looking forword to the new film of high school musical .

I tend to look on www.find-dvd.co.uk first to find the cheapest site for a particular film. Still think that Blu rays are over priced though. I don't mean the rrp I mean the actual achievable price which must average at about £15 for the latest films.

It's a shame that they have to be bought on line as I would rather browse in the local high street stores and buy but they are prohibitively expensive.

Believe it or not Toys'r'us have been cheaper than any high street store for ages, not the greatest selection but i picked up Layer Cake for £9.99 and Swordfish for £7.99, this was months ago so they'll probably be even cheaper/ have a wider choice now.
