After fitting my new belt, and generally re-setting my deck today I have been playing a lot of my old 12" 45's from the 80's. Everyone out including next door, so cranked up the volume a wee bit

I've not played a 45 single in years, but these 12" extended versions sound fabulously dynamic, with a real punch sometimes missing in the old 7".

Here's a selection of what I've been playing..

Ordinarily, I give stuff a few listens before I make judgement on it, but 'Tusk' only got one play. Hated it. Weird how a band that can produce brilliant stuff like 'Tango' and 'Rumours' can also come up with such tripe.

HAHA! it wasn't that bad, you just need to be on whatever they were at the time and it would all make sense.......man. Special note on Mirage, first time I've played it and it's up there with Tango and, obviously, way above Tusk :D

Fleetwood Mac - Mirage

This hasn't has much play with me, I prefer 'Rumours' and 'Tango', but i'm givin it a whirl now, with a bit of welly

Track 2 on side 2, Straight Back has amazing bass and drums. It's got me air drumming. Sad? Me? Get out!
