Hey boys! It's drawn me back in, kicking and screaming

Jase, you gotta add 'A perfect circle' to your wish list. Sounds amazing.

I've just got a good deal on 'Audioslave's debut and Alice in chains 'Dirt'. Both are Music On Vinyl re-issues, which are always flawless. They go for around £25 each at most places, but £15 a pop at Amazon marketplace.

I'm gonna say something now that may not go down too well

I can't listen to this album any more. Why? Not because of the music, because I thinks the music is pretty cool. Not because of her voice, 'cos I think it's pretty good. Nope, it's because of the lyrics. The whole damn album, song after song, is her whinging about her Ex. When I really listen to the words, and listen to the album as a whole, by the end of the record I want to slap her and tell her to get over it and have some respect for herself! He was just a bloke and there's millions more out there!!!!

I've got a feeling it might just be me on this one. Anyone else feel the same?

Anyway, enough about the pie-loving songstress, I'm listening to:

for the first time since I bought the Grado cart and it's sounding sooo good! 'Paranoid Android' has just finished and now 'Karma Police' is on and they sound better than i've ever heard them.

Fantastic live band. I saw these with Southside Johnny & the Astbury Dukes supporting back in the mists of time, great night was had by all.

Yeah you're right DIB's.....she's a bit before my time but I have always loved the sound of her voice.....and this is a very good 180gm album that came with a free CD as well :)

I've just been playing this and apart from the title track (which is really good) the rest of the album is quite frankly, rubbish.

This was a purchase BITD based purely on the single. It was quite cool at the time to say you liked the album though

This turned up today and it's getting it's first spin now.

Deftones - Around The Fur. Another brilliant pressing. Rock and metal were made for vinyl. The chasm between cd and vinyl versions in these genres is huge (as long as the pressing's good, of course).

I've had a nice early shoot from work today, so got down to the record shop. I'm glad I did, 'cos I did pretty well
