I went to Amazon to get the picture above and noticed that they're charging £42 for it now! I paid £11 last year. I feel quite smug now

Listening to Pentangle - History Book on my turntable which I got today. This is also my first turntable, so pretty excited, fortunately my dad has a lot (about 300) of records I can play. (Lots of hippie music)

Looking forward to show it to my friends too (only 19 years old)

Yeah, I am pretty lucky

In what way heavier? I do not hope you are referring to heavy metal and the likes, but there are some Grateful Dead, Rolling Stones etc

I don't know where they got that price from... Some sort of automated price comparator or something, I guess. All Your Music, who sell through Amazon, are very reliable and have it for £14.21 inc. postage.

Paramore - Riot

then,

Soundgarden - BadMotorFinger

now,

Pink Floyd - Wish you were here?

The Pink Floyd is an original pressing and is in great nick. As an added bonus, as I pulled the record out of it's sleeve, just now, a 'wish you were here?' postcard fell out, in absolute mint condition. Nice little surprise.

Floyd Droid, you'll know: did the postcard come with the album, as standard?

EDIT: It's ok FD, I did a little hunting. The postcard did come with the original, 1975, release. According to HERE, it's worth £25. I paid £6, so bargain!

Hopefully you will have some Wishbone Ash, Lindisfarne, Fairport Convention, Santana, Neil Young, Groundhogs, Steeleye Span, Stealers Wheel, Gerry Rafferty, The Who, Barclay James Harvest, Doors, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple to name a few, all would be heavier than Pentangle, Rennaisance, Quintessence etc but are not head banging heavy.
I hope they are all in good nick and you enjoy playing them.
If any are too heavy for you, you can always send them to DIB or me.

I picked this one up off Ebay for 99p plus P&P. Cover is a bit worn but the LP is in excellent condition. Sounds great too!

One of my Bristol Show purchases - heavyweight, Speakers Corner edition.

This has been one of my favourite albums for years, but i've never owned it on vinyl until now. It sounds amazing

If you haven't already check out Fur and Gold her first release, great album and press is good quality.

Vinyl, coloured vinyl, original release cd, re-issue cd and some 7"/cd singles from the album. `Fur and Gold` is indeed a great album. I`m hoping she/they can make it three great albums in a row when the new one is released. Sorry for showing off with my `Fur and Gold` collection.
