Give 'em Enough Rope: The Clash certainly gives my system a workout

The only Clash album I have on vinyl, but I can't remember ever playing it.

Any good?

Bruce Springsteen - Lucky Town (Jumps a bit, so can't sell it now)

David Sylvian - Brilliant Trees

Steppenwolf - Their Greatest Hits (I was hoping for more hammond, but it's a bit dull)

Edit button is a bit hit and miss these days.

The Beat - What Is Beat

Kraftwerk - Autobahn (replacement copy, still a little warped, but it might be an endless task trying to get a perfectly flat copy)

Siouxsie & The Banshees - A Kiss In The Dreamhouse

Siouxsie & The Banshees - Juju

New Order - Technique

Kirsty MacColl - Kite

PJ Harvey - Dry

The Stairs - Mexican R'n'B

Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 85-92

Mines is still in wrapper as had to come away to work before I could listen to it.

What are your thoughts on this one BBB?

I never got past track 2, made some awful noise just before halfway through the track, so I packed it up, and it's about to go back to Amazon for a refund.

Shame, but I have a bad feeling about this reissue, so I'm not going to get on the return it, replace it roundabout..

I hope yours is a lot better than mine.

Ditto the majority of my new vinyl experiences, far too often anyway.

The three Kraftwerk albums, even the replacements are all warped to a degree, but I couldn't face the endless cycle of returning them for replacements, so once I received a playable copy, I stuck.

The Aphex Twin was just unplayable, and I remember the first 2 copies I bought of Laughing Stock by Talk Talk a year ago were pretty poor soundwise.

Do you think it's bandwagon jumping?

Do you think all these pressings are legit?

I know for certain that there are plenty of illegal repressings around, but I'm not sure how the likes of Amazon would be duped into selling them.

Blondie - The Best Of Blondie
The title just says it all. Just brilliant pop music!

John Grant -Pale Green Ghosts
My album of the year. I cannot fully express how good this album is. The title track alone is a splendid workout for your system.
