As for Amazon, I avoid them if at all possible. At least once a month, will be going tomorrow, I go to Brighton and buy my vinyl, some preordered, and CDs from the fantastic Resident Records. Only if can't find something there, very rare, then I order over the net, usually Diverse Vinyl or another independent. It's my fight back against the death of and homogenisation of the High Street. If you don't use the shops you will lose them!
Can't wait for my Kraftwerk LPs to turn up

My two Kraftwerk albums arrived today, but will hold out until tomorrow before giving them a spin, Autobahn first.
I have it and the next one on permanent loan. They don't get played much.andybeau said:Meaat Loaf Bat Out Of Hell

I think I'll be returning this, nothing majorly wrong, but centre hole is tight, record is slightly warped, and there were 3 pops during playback.
A little disappointing after the flawless sound of "Man Machine", but you can still hear the difference between this and my original copy.
BIGBERNARDBRESSLAW said:Man Machine is the best sounding out of the three, and my copy has only the slightest of warps, and sounds amazing. "The Robots" is mind blowing.
The warping on the other two is probably beyond acceptable, but with the centre holes being over tight on the spindle, my mind is made up.
But, **** me, doesn't "The Robots" sound good.
