What shall i connect to my NAD545BEE

I have just purchased a NAD 545BEE (my CA 640 CD burnt out after 2 years) and it is currently paired to my CA 640V2 Amp and Mordaunt Short 902i's but I now want to upgrade the said AMP and speakers. This set-up actually sounds OK to me but I know it can be significantly improved. We play all sorts of music so I cannot even give to a steer with that, so all I require the is highest quality sound possible, for a budget of £1000-£1200 (for both speakers and AMP) and I am not interested in lots of features that I will never use.

I was thinking of the Naim Nate 5i AMP but I have no clue with the speakers although I would consider bookshelf or floor-standers.

given the price of the amp, how about giving the EB Acoustics speakers a go? would take you up to the 1200 mark and allows home demo?

What kind of music do you listen to?

Hi, we will listen to anything really, mainly pop/rock with the favorite album being Kasabian at the moment but everything from Brit pop to drum and bass and even classical sometimes. I am not a very technical but i know good quality sound when i hear it so I am keen to ensure each component complimnets eachother.
