That revox is nice, I've had a want for reel to reel for a few years but way out of my league.
I can't even afford what is on my wish list:

Like every one else hear I like my music and would like a nice system if I won some money. Hi End hifi which cost silly money does not interest me (especially those huge amps which sit on crates between two monolith speakers). However if I had some finance to test out Norma Revo 140B amp and Avid Accent amp with ATC SCM40 speakers that would be a nice start, or even ATC SCM40A (active) with perhaps a nice tube preamp to sweeten the sound maybe a nice surprise....😊

My next purchase will probably be a Hegel H400 some time early next year love the sound of Hegel amps you can listen to them for hours without fatigue.

Damn it! Wish I had £3995 waiting for something to do. Audio Affair have a Pathos InPol Ear, including optional DAC, at £3995, ex-demo, down from £6,445...
The Pathos really nice unique looking tube amp.
2.5K off is almost a bargain!
I've been tinkering about with tube rolling with excellent results. Recently purchased a converter adapter for 6N2 socket on my head amp XDUOO TA-66.
This allowed compatibility with 6SL7/6SN7 tubes.
I was able to upscale to Psvane 6SL7 Art Series preamp tube and today my buffer power replacement tube Sovtek 6AS7G Double triode also arrived.
Really good results, sound stage improved greatly. Well worth the investment.

Just confirming this is a wish list and not a want list?!?

YG are the best speakers I've ever heard.
My local dealer (Criterion Audio) are a distributor and always have different versions up and running in the dem room.
I wouldn't want to greedy, but the Carmel 3 are the entry level, but at just under £32k, a wish and/or dream is all they'll ever be.

I wonder how many pairs of the those that they've actually sold 🤔
(I often wonder that about the expensive stuff).
With all the speaker choice you've got up to that level.....I'd always be wondering what I'd missed out on listening to before settling on them.

I had recently purchased 2.5 gb ethernet adapter from ASUS. The plan was to use it for work , this was meant for my work laptop but most of the time I wasn't using it.

After gathering dust for many weeks, I manage to find a really good use for it but first allow me to provide some context.

I didn't realise, LG TV network adaptors only support 10/100mb LAN connections, not that most people would need more. I assumed for premium TV brand it would have one gb as standard.

4K viewing on Netflix, it's just about OK. I did a speed test and it was maxing out at 79mps.

I had no idea this little device was compatible with WebOS and other operating systems, not just Windows and MACs.

I decided to give it a try, I discarded the LGs Lan port, and plug the ASUS device to the spare USB connection, done the Netflix speed test, it shot up to 250mps!

Not bad!
Well pleased with the purchase, now that I've finally found a proper use for it 🙂
