Amp on first then subwoofer

Subwoofer off first and then amp

Then nothing from the amp that powers on,off will give the bass thum from my subwoofer being on (no woofer thumb from my tringle titus)

Have had active speaker and subwoofers thruhgout the last 10-15 years and must admit i hate not being able to turn on or off my amp or premap and everything shuts off (or on) by itself WITHOUT any woofer thumb

One in another thread said it could be because i only have a pre out not sw out and it's when the speaker relay (2-3 sec delay) turns on i get the subwoofer thumb
I think you miss understand.
Maybe look online further it's well covered.

Some sub woofers coming in and out of standby causes the same "thumb" you describe for the same aforementioned reason.
It was common on the older types.
Most now have delays until the capacitor equalises.

The "speaker relay" you mention is what some amps have a muting on a protection relay for (to mute the pop of it clicking on)

Anyway glad you have it solved.

That's a sound analysis Stuart, makes sense, capacitors do store power. I can testify to that, on a few occasions I have accidently touched the solder on the capacitor, while assembling my PC motherboard, Kicks like a Mule!
Must admit I've had one or two of the old TV sets whilst studying TV video repair at Durham years ago despite being told they may still hold a charge and not wanting to wait.
I power whatever device down now for the night if I know I'm going to be near them.

it's not a solution since i wanna turn on/off my amp without turning my subwoofer on or off, just leave it on aut

if i turn my amp on,off while my subwoofer is on i get the bass thumb

My cheap under 100 euro class d amp can do without no bass thumb

I really shouldn't need to have my amp and subwoofer on and have my sub to aut turn off and then my amp after an hour of no music
