I’m listening to a nice synthey electronic album on tidal atm by ‘the belbury circle’ called ‘outward journeys’ which came out a few days ago. Quite chilled and good soundscapes. I think will appeal to people who like dance music / electronica

Currently selling very well at my music shop, ‘resident’ in Brighton, might buy the cd too.

Just started revisiting my Winter themed albums: 'In Winter' - Katie Melua, 'If on a Winter's night' - Sting and 'Midwinter Graces' - Tori Amos.

These make great listening on a chilly afternoon by the log burner with a brandy after a walk in the woods with the Whippet....

The Sting and Tori Amos albums are superb albums for this time of year, Katie Melua quite nice too.

Frightened Rabbit. the midnight organ fight.

Just dug this one out as I haven't listened to it for a good while in fact probably since I had my arcam's and b&w cm5's...boy has the superuniti brought this album up a notch or two....I used to only manage a few songs at a time as it always sounded a bit of a mess to me but Whatever the SU and pmc's has done to it.....it's made me smile..one of my fave albums and will be getting more play time now.

Not bad, I quite like it .

But I prefer my electronica to be a little less 'safe' like these.

Rory Gallagher - Deuce

He really was the boss in this genre, a genius guitar player in my humble opinion. Turned the Stones down when Mick Taylor left, and Ronnie Wood got the gig.

RM Hubbert, Telling the Trees

Brilliant callaboration between an excellent guitarist and guest vocalists such as Kathryn Williams, Kathryn Joseph and Karine Polwart, of the ones I know.

Still loving this Kettel and Secede album Electro. On repeat listen this evening. Great for reading to.

Can you recommend anything else good you’ve heard on similar electronic downtempo level?.

There is very little that is comparable even solo from the two individual artists, the combination of the two styles has resulted in a unique sound summed up in these quotes.

" Kettel and Secede have combined to create something far greater than the sum of its parts. The album is conceptual and cohesive, and not easily categorizable. In other words, it's timeless. Just beautiful. "

" I gave Secede’s infamous album ‘Tryshasla’ a spin before listening to ‘When Can’ and although you can here Secede’s sound throughout this album, it’s hard to pinpoint exactly where or how he and Kettel pieced this together and how on earth they come up with something as genius. Kettel is often renowned for perhaps, the weirder style of electronica music, and Secede, a master of miniature sounds, samples and that ‘outerworld’ feeling and both of these styles feature. But I think the thing that blows me away with this album is the unexpectedness of the sounds, the pure guts and glory of making something which they obviously enjoyed doing – no pre-tense, no expectations, and definitely no genre in mind."

Try these they are not as spellbinding but good nonetheless.

great world music and some lovely melodies. A1 album with hardly any tracks that don’t have great melodies. Lovely vocal too.
