This week has mainly been..

Portishead - Roseland NYC Live

Submotion Orchestra - Finest Hour

Tm Juke - Maps Of The Wilderness

Zero 7 - Simple Things

Cinematic Orchestra - Every Day

All cracking albums, chills me out after a stressful week

I've bought a couple of Original Album Classics sets off Amazon. Spirit and Rory Gallagher.

No frills, no liner notes or anything, just 5 CD's in cardboard sleeves. Great value at £12.99 and £10.99 respectively

Although I own the Dr Sardonicus album already on CD, I did not have the other 4 CD's. Currently listening to the self titled first album.

.

I've got that Spirit set too DIB. Really like it. Got the Argent, Bread, and Poco ones in the same series too.

Currently streaming I Am Kloot from Spotify:

Only just got into them but I'm really liking this album.

Snap! I've listened to this one a few times on Spotify. A favourite of Radio Paradise, particularly the track "Fingerprints".

RP my radio station of choice. Superb SQ even at a relatively low bit rate ( 128 )

Fear Of A Blank Planet by Porcupine Tree

The best band youve never heard of

Fantastic.

heard their 2002 album 'In Absentia' on this recommendation.

Not heard a band with balls for a while.

Nicely produced too

Matt

The fabulous Falstaff Symphonic Study by Elgar in incredible Nixa-Westminster recordings from 1956 under Sir Adrian Boult, and Emil Gilels' wonderful account of the 1st Brahms Piano Concerto.
