Hi DIB, This album and The Crane Wife are the only two albums I own by them, have you investigated any further? My wife loves Colin Meloy's voice and bought a couple of his solo albums on the strength of it. Both really good: Colin Meloy Sings Live (or something like that), and a wonderful online-only covers EP of Morrissey songs. The King Is Dead (nice Smiths allusion there) CD also came with a mini-doc about the making of the album. There's some interesting snippets of them talking and playing in the studio, plus Peter Buck turns up and sprinkles some of his signature sound on a few songs. I

I've already got Dust Bowl on vinyl, excellent album.
Anyways, whilst doing a bit of Xmas shopping in town this morning, I just managed to engineer the route to go past Fopp Records.
Cheaper on the net I know, but BH & JB's "Don't Explain" was just sat there waiting to be bought, so I did and am happily listening to it now.
I think it's my favourite album of the year.
