Currently listening to the Janacek Sinfonietta performed by the BBC SO and Charles Mackerras on the cover CD from the current issue of BBC Music magazine and awestruck at the additional power, detail and timrbral information my new cables are drawing from my hi-fi. Fabulous.

You really seem to be enjoying your music at the moment Matthew! Quick question, which cables did you have before the change?

Richard - I thought you had deserted us! Good song, by the way...

What system are you running at the moment?

Nearly had deserted, after my fiancees kid, nearly knocked over one of my speakers... I still got my QA 1050s 1030s (only just lol) + AE 107C 5.0 setup. Sony STR-DB940, soon to be re-replaced by a STR-DB1070. DVP-NS900V and MDS-JB940 still running strong. The 60GB PS3 is still in there, and my PC with its DD Live! soundcard. Looking to upgrade to a Sony STR-DG820, or whatever really.

Also at 22-26 seconds into Maid in Heaven, I recognise the riff, but cant quite pin it on a song. Anyone know what its from?

Johnny Cash, The Moody Blues, and Barclay James Harvest, all on vinyl. Its absolutely amazing how brilliant a budget turntable can sound, and with none of the irritating issues of running an older deck. Excellent.

Hi Survivor! I had Chord Company Crimson interconnect and QED Micro speaker cable. The improvement from my new cables has been unbelievable.

Yes, I am enjoying my music more than ever. I've listened much more since I bought the Denon stuff and the MAs, and things like cables have proved effective tweaks to get the absolute best out of it.
