Stunning, but only heard so far in the car and lossless on the iphone. Will report back when played on the main Hifi.....
Only 2 things that dissapoint me about Mr Gabriel are:
1) 8 years since the last album, and it's a covers album! PG has always produced outstanding albums, but he's just too lazy....more please...
2) Been to see him live at least half a dozen times over the years. Dragged the wife along for the last three times who thinks he's rubbish. Would have loved to have gone to see him this year, but got a no, no, not again! Looks like it's Michael Buble instead this year unless PG comes to Liverpool/Manchester and I'll find somebody to go with...

bought this for £2 at a pawn shop today ... never heard of him, .... different but mellow (nice sunday music)

BJH's third album, and their penultimate one before departing the Harvest label and signing with Polydor. 'The Poet/After The Day' is incredible.

I have been lurking here for a few weeks but only galvanised myself to joining up when I saw this post . I bought this cd just before Christmas and I have listened to it constantly ever since . The bass on the second track is window shattering if played to loud . I thought I was the only one listening to this stuff .
I shall follow your choices with interest .
Have you heard any Biosphere or Global Communication ? Great late night listening .

The Dave I was referring to is Daveh75 and the album is The Last Resort by Trentemoller . Except I mucked it up . Well ,it was my first post . Sorry.
