When in Oz. . .I'm listening to Paul Kelly's Greatest Hits.
Is this guy the Aussie hybrid of Gilbert O'Sullivan & Bob Dylan?
Really love the ode to Sir Don, "Bradman". We need more spoken word reveries about cricketers. Can't think of too many Northern Hemisphere equivalents.
Just as a train of thought on the subject of "what are you listening to", of all the albums and or artist"s listed in response to this, how many people find a particular album or artist timeless. That is to say they never get fed up of hearing that album or artist. For me it"s joni mitchell or steely dan (early stuff).takes me right back to the seventies when i hear them. "Hissing of summer lawns "is a classic.
Right now just at the end of Evil Urges CD by My Morning Jacket. Later it will be vinyl and Endtroducing..... by DJ Shadow and probably another spin of Big Blue Ball.

Goodness yes. Absolutely. Often I`ll hear a song and it takes you straight back to a particular place in time. Just one quick example off the top of my head I always think of sunny days in the early seventies when I hear certain songs by Glenn Campbell which my sister used to play a lot.
I have `Hissing Of Summer Lawns` too. Yes indeed, very fine album.
