Ovo, the Peter Gabriel produced and written album for the Millenium Dome. 'Downside-up' is a fantastic uplifting duet to beat 'Mercy St' and there is not a weak track on the album IMO. Then some Pink Floyd.

Steve Hackett - Defector (one of the better remasters out there!)

Makes for a great test disc by the bye - the bass on the opening track (The Steppes) is a good test for any system, likewise track 3 (Slogans).

'Fantasie' shows Benedetti's virtuoso technique and her sheer musicianship and sensitivity in a very enjoyable programme.

Listened to the 1st Symphony from Rattle's new Brahms set and its superb. The Berlin Phil respond so wonderfully to his conducting and, lately, EMI appear to have remembered how to make superlatively engineered recordings. Can't wait to listen to the other 3 symphonies.

Hazmat Modine .... cd is called Bahamut

hard to describe but would say its a mixture of blues and jazz .... (I dont really enjoy Jazz but love blues) .... currently listening on spotify but will get the cd ... the more you listen, the better it sounds .... favourite tracks are steady roll, bahamut and yesterday morning (in that order)

think they were recently on the Jools Holland show
