UK V US PRICES

I was doing a search for the Panasonic 58V10 and the best price I could find on the net for the UK was around £3,000 yet US websites have it for around $2,800, how can there be such a discrepancy in prices for what is effectively the same TV and also Panasonic are a european company aren't they, so why are we getting such a bad deal

Different marketing channels and taxation, much larger market - those are the usual reasons cited. And no, Panasonic is a Japanese company, based in Osaka.

Swap the US for Sweden and do the comparison again.
