Bear in mind that the VT50 you're getting is most likely to be a customer return, as Panasonic isn't supplying anymore VT50s, and JL was out of stock last week. Good luck!
bigboss said:I'm not sure. Part of me says that you should insist on the refund. After all, if you had gone for a more expensive TV, you would've had to pay the difference, so why not the other way round? Also, you have an option of returning it, & then making a fresh purchase of the VT50, saving you £100. Other part of me says that JL have gone out of their way to keep you happy, and they will undoubtedly lose money on the swap. So maybe I should leave it. In any case, VT50 has always been more expensive than GT50.

civilian said:Richer Sounds should have the GT60 in a few day's.. Thats what i have been told. I think for now ill stick with the VT50 2012.. I have 90 day cooling of period.. I'll run the set in, wait and see if problems occur..If not ill keep it, if they do..Like end up with the GT60. I hope i haven't done wrong by going for the VT50 2012.....

strapped for cash said:Gel, where's your nearest Panasonic store?
When I was researching the VT65 I called my local (sort of) Panasonic store to ask about price. They were willing to price match and include a five year warranty (they said I could return paperwork to activate the full warranty without any problem). There was no need for me to go to the store and they advised they would deliver free of charge.
I stuck with JL because they also matched the price and I can't fault their customer service. Obviously It was less hassle to arrange, too.
Hi-Spek and Roy Jowett also have the GT60 in stock and may be flexible on price and warranty.
Not that I'm encouraging you to buy another TV, of course!

Yes.
They also offer a professional calibration service for £99, if you buy the TV from there.

I'm on iPad 2 as well. Click "disable rich text" before typing.
