Hi
Not really sure if this is the right place to be asking this question, but after having my Samsung LE46M87BDX repaired recently and having to mess around with all the settings again I randomly set my Xbox to output in 720p instead of the 1080p it was previously set to. Weirdly this seems to of improved the picture quite noticeably ( at least I think so!) it also seems to be running a lot smoother too (more akin to how would say I have seen PS3s running). Is this just me? Or is there some reason behind this? Like Xbox games only being created to run at a resolution of 720 and the upscaler built that is built into the machine isnt as good as the one in my TV?
Just curious to find out why this might be happening, or, if anyone else has experienced this?! Maybe you should give it a go...
