Hi all,

Sorry to offend with my ignorance but I've had the same junk Hi-Fi since I was 12 and am in desperate need of a replacement. A few years ago aquired a pair of Tannoy Reveal 5A speakers which I'm planning to use in the set-up. I have a ton of vinyl records I picked up over the years that I was playing on my parent's LP player, however having recently moved away I need something to play them and my CD collection on.

Ideally I don't really want to spend more than around £300-£350 atm. Does anyone have any suggestions to get me up and running?

Are we to assume you would need an amplifier, cd player, and turntable for you budget?

If you need all 3 components for that sort of budget you are going to have to look second-hand.

I'd suggest you have a good look through the threads on this forum with this in mind.
