I like it.Alien3 - a reasonably regular view. I know it's not popular (probably because Newt and Hicks were killed off), but I love the bleakness that pervades.
Hot Fuzz for me.Shaun of the Dead on 4k. Can't decide whether I prefer this or Hot Fuzz, but both great films.
Hot Fuzz for me too. Not just the better film for me but, I was born in and grew-up near Wells where it was filmed so, I know all the locations and, my mother worked for a number of years in the supermarket, which was then a Somerfield.Hot Fuzz for me.
Agreed..and certainly a fine performance from Mr. HopkinsOne Life - it'll be on iPlayer- Anthony Hopkins as a stockbroker who organises the rescue of nearly 700 Czech children just as WW2 breaks out. Great performance from him as the man in later life still struggling to come to terms with things.
Suffers just a tiny bit from what often affects films dealing with very sensitive subject matter in that they have a single, very serious tone throughout, but the end is beautiful.
Saw this at the cinema and was really good. 👍One Life - it'll be on iPlayer- Anthony Hopkins as a stockbroker who organises the rescue of nearly 700 Czech children just as WW2 breaks out. Great performance from him as the man in later life still struggling to come to terms with things.

As an avid John Carpenter fan (and the original film), I can pick holes in this film all day. Still seen it 9 times 🤣Halloween (2018) on 4k. I've only seen this and the original - second time of asking for this one. Weirdly, it doesn't end how we remembered. I think it's a pretty good film, and from what I read much, much better than most of the franchise.
