Looking exceptionally tidy, bloody nice carIf you'll forgive me shoehorning it in, not looking bad for a car that'll turn 18 in January. Only something terminal will make me part with it.

Wheels refurbed and some tiny bits of corrosion dealt with. Just needs the blades at the bottom of the front doors addressing - the metal in them warps over the years so they don't lie flat.
Picture of Senna at Donington on the wall, btw.
Thank you, very kind.Looking exceptionally tidy, bloody nice car
Oh yes, that V6 Busso sounds awesome, but costs of tax and insurance is way over the top compared to a modern 2.0 litre.Nuts. The 156 will sound sooo much better, but that's crazy.
Good looker dat dere Audi. Love the colour. I have penchant for blue cars.If you'll forgive me shoehorning it in, not looking bad for a car that'll turn 18 in January. Only something terminal will make me part with it.

Think most cars have had recalls. My Alfa had a recall a couple of years ago for the bonnet catch not holding. Yet my model hasn't been made since 2007 (for the Asian Market.)Video shows Nissan SUV catch on fire in family's driveway; carmaker is investigating
The 2015 Nissan Murano has a history of recalls, including a 2019 one involving the ABS pump, which can increase risk of a fire.eu.usatoday.com
Is that the RS4 with the lovely V8? Always liked Audi, owned a 1991 80 Sport in dark blue, and a Audi A4 T-Sport from the early 2000s, which was a company car.If you'll forgive me shoehorning it in, not looking bad for a car that'll turn 18 in January. It is, lightly fettled for a tiny bit more power and a worthwhile gain in torque. Is that the RS4 with the lovely V8?
Very nice.It is, lightly fettled for a tiny bit more power and a worthwhile gain in torque.
It's like the Busso in being caught in the wince-inducing tax band - a car made now with similar CO2 figures would pay markedly less, and a car used to qualify for classic car status (and discounted road tax) at 25 years old - but alas that's now 40.
That's a real nice Audi you've got there. Is it an A6? What motor's under the hood?If you'll forgive me shoehorning it in, not looking bad for a car that'll turn 18 in January. Only something terminal will make me part with it.

Which company is that? My mileage is pretty low and we use Mrs 12th's for all the long journeys, holidays etc. Not that its view would affect road tax though, which is the killer.According to one classic car insurer, my 2005 car comes under classic car status. The only catch is it can't be used as your main car, so limited mileage.
Thanks - it's a 2007 RS4 - 4.2l V8.That's a real nice Audi you've got there. Is it an A6? What motor's under the hood?
Very, very nice. A proper motor!Thanks - it's a 2007 RS4 - 4.2l V8.

Yeah, I bet that guzzles petrol. Any V engine does, except for those poxy Wankle (no, not a swear word) rotary engines. They class them as a 1.3 but swallow oil and petrol like a V8. That's the biggest automotive con.Which company is that? Pretty sure mine's ULEZ-compliant too.
Depends upon weight of foot. I can get 30 on a long run if I'm gentle. But I don't tend to do long runs. Or be gentle, if truth be told.Yeah, I bet that guzzles petrol.
Yup, always that temptation to give it some welly.Depends upon weight of foot. I can get 30 on a long run if I'm gentle. But I don't tend to do long runs. Or be gentle, if truth be told.
